![]() ![]() Uninstall anything v9.92 first if you've already tried the most current Waves Central Legacy installer. Rule #1: DON'T USE THE v9.92 OFFLINE INSTALLER! That sucks.īut for legacy Waves plugins that require the offline installer, there is hope! Long story short for v11.0, it doesn't work (as far as I've found), it seems like the only way to get any v11.0 Waves plugins to work is to upgrade them to a newer version. After having to format my PC and do a full reinstall recently and struggling to get Waves garbage to work, I've finally figured it out, taken notes, and might as well share it here if anyone else needs it. While V12 and up show up as a WaveShell1-VST folders for VST2 that expands to show your plugins, V9.92 and 11.0 just show up looking like a plugin that doesn't do anything, and for VST3 they don't even show up at all. Hopefully this will help somebody attempting to get legacy plugins from Waves v9 or v11 workingĪs many of you probably know legacy Waves plugins are difficult to get working in Live. ![]()
